FULL GRAIN
The “vacheta cowhide” calfskin used for this collection are full grain. The full grain is the upper layer of the leather or the most precious and resistant part, and it is the part that gives the products a natural beauty and pleasant to the touch.
NATURAL
Vegetable water tanning is carried out with the use of materials abundantly present in nature such as vegetable tannins, obtained from tree bark (birch, quebracho, oak, chestnut) to which tallow (animal fat) and vegetable oil are added.
HUMAN FRIENDLY
The final finishing of the color of the leather, after tanning in ancient wooden drums, is carried out with hand-made aniline color buffering. The leather thus tanned is also hypoallergenic by contact and inhalation.
